The Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) was established in 1971 as an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to policy-oriented studies on domestic and international issues.
Our mission is to contribute to improved policy making through research, dialogue, and public debate. We believe that policy decisions should be based on careful study and comparative analysis of various policy options.
